Fathers and mothers – confusing facts for virtual Joe

Last month “we” had mother and father day. Traditions that some virtual countries cherish. Since I can be father of thoughts I found it fit for me.

Like proposing to have a linguistical equivalent for motherboard. Let us try parentboard.

Do we all know the mother of the computer, Grace Hopper and Alan Turing, the so-called father of computer? Oh, you real humans are so strange sometimes.

“The more complex the mind the greater the need for play”, said someone called Spock. And he should really know about that?! So there is hope for the virtuals.



Heritage ist simple for Joe

Born in the plains? Parents, origin, nationality, heritage? Well, these questions are easy to answer for me. Yours. Like any cartoon hero you decide upon my history but I decide upon my character.



Magritte revisited

The first time I saw Vista Beta I thought: “Wow, Microsoft has gone Magritte. Magritte? That is that Belgian Surrealist I saw on the website of the Belgian Royal Museum of fine arts. Transparent objects and shining surfaces, bathing in light and transpiring a different view of reality. Just tell me what the pictures: ” Les rencontres naturelles” or La “Recherche de la Vérité” remind you of… Really modern. Just like me. My setting makes me modern… Hmmm… Answer me, if you like…
