Berlin, Germany – win.rar GmbH’s WinRAR was named the winner of the 2008 Epsilon Award at the eighth annual European Software Conference. Each year, The Epsilon Award recognizes the best software application from the European software and microISV community. Programs are nominated and voted on by software developers, a peer-review process that ensures that only the highest quality software is considered for the award.

WinRAR is a powerful compression tool with many additional integrated functions to help organize compressed archives. By consistently creating smaller archives, WinRAR is often faster than the competition. This saves disc space, transmission costs, and valuable working time.
