Asa Dotzler
Asa Dotzler
is best known for his work as community coordinator for several
Mozilla projects. He was an early member of Mozillas Quality
Assurance (QA) and Testing Program, which grew under his leadership
from just a few contributors when Dotzler joined the project to
tens of thousands of volunteers today.
Dotzler is co-founder
and community coordinator for the Spread Firefox project, launched
in October 2004, where he spearheads open source marketing projects.
Spread Firefox is charged with empowering Firefox community members
to raise awareness of the popular web browser. He also works with
drivers@mozilla.org, the project management group at Mozilla, to
define requirements and development roadmaps for the Mozilla projects.
Dotzler has
been an active member of the Mozilla community since 1998. After
volunteering for more than a year, Dotzler joined the Mozilla organization,
and has played a key role in delivering products including the release
of Mozilla 1.0 and the release of the Mozilla Firefox web browser
and Mozilla Thunderbird e-mail and usenet client.
The
schedule covers many topics that interest Independent Software Vendors
and brings well-known speakers to our European Software Conference.
Events will lighten up the evenings and the Epsilon
Award will be given to the winner of the voting process.

Carnival
time in Cologne in Europe
Suitable for that
time of the year, that marks the beginning of the traditional
carneval season of Cologne, a programm of carnival happenings
will bring the spirit and laugh of "koelsche" culture
in to the European Software Conference. Starring will be the
European Carnival Prince and Princess of the year 2007. Kumm
loos ma fiere! (local Cologne dialect: meaning: Hey, let us
celebrate!)
